this model is equipped with a cat3304 engine. Since there are only four cylinders, in order to balance the crank and connecting rod mechanism, its size control can play a very important role in the printing quality and printing speed within the appropriate limits. A double balance device is set up to separate the inertia force generated by the large printing quality and printing speed. When assembling, it is required to strictly ensure that all marks of the timing gear and the balance crankshaft gear are aligned one by one. Only in this way can the inertia force of the engine be balanced. Ensure the smooth operation of the engine. According to the structure and repair process of the machine, the fault is caused by the inertia force imbalance of the engine crank connecting rod mechanism. That is, during maintenance, the oil pump was removed, and the timing gear chamber cover was not opened during assembly to check the marks one by one (the marks could not be seen), which led to the double balance shaft not playing a balancing role and causing engine vibration

the oil pump gear is the intermediate gear between the crankshaft gear and the balance shaft gear. After opening the timing gear chamber cover, after aligning the marks of the timing gear and the balance shaft gear, the problem has been solved when testing the meter. However, if the cover of the timing gear chamber needs to be removed and the mark needs to be re aligned just to check the crankshaft bearing or oil pump, the workload is too heavy. We have explored a simple method, which is now introduced as follows:

(1) find the compression TDC of cylinder I: insert the timing bolt into the hole on the flywheel housing and press it against the flywheel. Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise until the timing bolt is inserted into the hole on the flywheel and pressed against the flywheel. After adding the test piece counter clockwise, turn the crankshaft until the timing bolt is inserted into the hole on the flywheel and stop the rotation. Remove the valve cover and check the two valves of cylinder I. if the piston of cylinder I is at the top dead center of the compression stroke, both valves should be closed. At this time, the rocker arm can be pulled up and down by hand. If the rocker arm cannot be pulled, remove the timing bolt from the flywheel and turn the crankshaft 3600 counterclockwise. And install the timing bolt, which is the top dead center of the compression stroke of cylinder I (if the timing bolt is inserted into the flywheel and the timing cover of the high-pressure oil pump is removed, the spring fatigue testing machine of the timing pin can be widely used in the production and utilization of springs and shock absorbers, and it can also be concluded that cylinder I is at the top dead center of the compression stroke at this time)

(2) at the bottom of the engine crankcase, there are bolt holes on both sides of the middle big bush. Rotate the balance shaft by hand. When the concave part of the shaft is aligned with the bolt hole, screw in the bolt to counter the concave surface of the balance shaft so that the balance shaft cannot rotate

(3) after positioning the crankshaft and balance shaft, install the oil pump without alignment marks. Finally, remove the bolts that position the balance shaft

after such assembly, both engines run smoothly and the vibration is eliminated
